Len and Charl manage each project they deal with from the design right through to the successful completion with the team which they have allocated to the project.

Equipment

Each team has an L.D.V. trailer and each foreman has a cell phone to ensure that we can contact them from base at all times.

To speed up installations where soil conditions permit, we have two Ditchwitch 1820 trenchers as well as a Vermeer RT-200 walk behind chain trencher. We also utilitze our own Vermeer RT-450 ride-on chain trencher on bigger projects. We also utilize our own two Wacker Compactors during trench backfilling to ensure no subsidence take place. Site storage is also accommodated by using our own 3 x 6m containers.

Training

A strong emphasis is placed on ongoing training which is done by assisting personnel to attend courses as well as providing in-house training.

We are currently in the process of implementing a life skills training course for the less skilled employees as well as a more advanced course for the personnel with higher school qualifications.

Empowerment Policy

We are committed to ensuring that we develop the previously disadvantaged individuals in our company to the point where they can become managers and eventually shareholders in the company.

We utilize various affirmative business enterprise namely Masekhanye Irrigation & Uhlaza Irrigation to do some of our maintenance work as well as certain contracts. We are doing our best to ensure that a genuine transfer of all level of skills are passed on to them so that they remain completely independent contractors and develop and expand their businesses.

– Corneels Windvogel

He is responsible for his team of 3 fitters along with a temporary staff of between two and six labourers and oversees two other teams as well and has 25 years of installation experience and 20 years of service at the company.

Site Manager
– Albert Peters

He is responsible for his team of 3 fitters along with a temporary staff of between two and six labourers and oversees two other teams as well and has 23 years of installation experience and 20 years of service.

Site Foreman
– Shorty Mhlauli

He is responsible for his team of 3 fitters along with a temporary staff of between two and six people and has 18 years of installation experience.

Contracts Manager
– Charl le Roux

He is responsible for all the operational aspects of the company including the plant hire division. He is also responsible for all tenders and client relations in the commercial department. He has 15 years service with the company

Managing Director
– Len Becker

He is personally involved with the company on a day to day basis. Golf projects and interacting with key roleplayers in our industry as well as developers is his focus.
